(Rakon UK Ltd) Environmental Policy and Company Objectives

Rakon UK Limited recognises the potential health and environmental impacts of its business activities and the need to manage and reduce these where practicably possible. To achieve environmental best practice, the company will:

-Implement and maintain an environmental management system which meets all the elements of the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard, seeking to deliver continual environmental improvement and maintain business excellence.

-Comply with all applicable United Kingdom laws, regulations and any other requirements that relate to our environmental aspects and maintain systems to ensure on-going legislative compliance.

-Continually improve our environmental performance through the setting and review of annual environmental objectives and targets for our highest rated significant environmental aspects, and report progress to our stakeholders.

-Improve the management of waste through minimisation, re-use and recycling.

-Minimise risk and protect our associates and the community in which we operate by utilising safe technologies and operating procedures.

-Prepare for potential emergencies and have appropriate plans to prevent releases into the atmosphere, land or water, minimise the amount of hazardous waste generated and ensure the safe treatment and disposal of waste.

-Communicate our commitment to environmental health and safety to our associates, vendors and customers.

This policy will be reviewed by the General Manager, or his representative, as often as may be appropriate. It will be made available to any interested party, including the public.
