Rakon releases the radiation tolerant COTS XO RK105 and VCXO RK205

In order to respond to the growing needs of the New Space market (Low Earth Orbit satellites with a short mission lifetime), Rakon has recently released a radiation tolerant XO and a radiation tolerant VCXO, both based on a COTS (Commercially Off The Shelf) design.
They have been designed for missions requiring radiation tolerance at a reasonable cost and with a short lead-time: TID (Total Ionizing Dose) spec is 72 or 100 kRad (for CMOS) and Single Event Latch-up is guaranteed up to 32.4 or 62 MeV (for LVPECL).
Rakon in Discussions for Buy-out of Centum Rakon India

Rakon today announces that it is in advanced discussions with Centum Electronics Limited (“Centum”) to buy out their 51% shareholding in the India based company Centum Rakon India Private Limited (“CRI”) (“proposed transaction”). Rakon today has a 49% shareholding in CRI, the operation of which is a core part of Rakon’s manufacturing strategy.
Rakon releases small form factor OCSOs for instrumentation, RADAR and electronic defense systems

Rakon has released new Oven Controlled SAW Oscillators in a miniature 25.4 x 22 x 12.7 mm SMD package, currently available in 400MHz, 500MHz, 600MHz, 800MHz, 1GHz and 1.2GHz and all designed to be soldered by reflow.
This product series is designed for ground-based and shipboard RADAR, test equipment, and airborne systems where size and weight are critical.
Rakon realises gain on partial sale of Thinxtra investment

Rakon today announces the sale of 199,242 shares it holds in the Australian internet-of-things (IoT) company, Thinxtra Pty Limited. The total consideration received will be AUD 3.0 million, netting to around AUD 2.8 million after costs.
The sale of shares is conditional upon the completion of Thinxtra’s pre-emptive rights process for all shareholders. This process is expected to conclude by the end of November.
