Rakon Secures Significant Orders

The Rakon Limited Board of Directors is pleased to advise that Rakon has secured several significant orders from new and existing customers including a material order from a new multi-national customer. Rakon expects to deliver the majority of these orders in FY2022, with the balance in FY2023. Indicatively, Rakon expects that these orders will increase its revenue in FY2022 by at least 20% from FY2021.
World Firsts From Mars – and a Kiwi Connection

NASA1 has just released the first-ever audio recording of sounds from Mars along with footage of the 18 February (US time) touchdown from NASA’s Mars 2020 Perseverance rover. Also released today was the mission’s first panorama of the rover’s landing location.
Rakon CEO Brent Robinson says the Kiwi company has been following developments with heightened interest since the Perseverance rover landed last week, as two of its components are on-board.
Rakon releases its highest frequency – 10 GHz ultra-low noise OCVCSO

Rakon has announced the release of its highest frequency oscillator: the LNO10000B3. The Oven Controlled Voltage Controlled SAW Oscillator (OCVCSO) generates a frequency output signal at 10 GHz. It is designed for X-band systems where superior phase noise performance and high frequency are essential.
