VCXO Overview

Rakon has expertise in a broad range of standard performance, high performance and high reliability Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillators(VCXOs) and Voltage Control Clock Oscillators (VCXOs).  The high performance range of VCXOs feature low jitter, low phase noise and selectable output frequencies; which make them ideal for applications in the Global Positioning and Telecommunications markets.

The high reliability VCXO range of prodcuts are resistant to shock and vibration in harsh environments. The specification profiles make them a great solution for Space applications.

High Reliability Space VCXO Selection

PROFILE: The high reliability Space VCXO is manufactured in accordance with MIL-PRF-55310 (Class 1, type 2, level S). The high performance VCXO features excellent Absolute Pulling Range (APR) of ±200 ppm, good aging characteristics of ±1 to ±5 ppm per year , low power consumption of 0.1W, compact package size, and a weight of 20g.

APPLICATIONS: Space Synthesizers and Transponders, Frequency Generation Units (FGU), GPS receivers, Down and up converters and Onboard calculators.
