MRO and MLO

The Master Reference Oscillator (MRO) is a piece of equipment that provides a highly reliable and stable signal to the satellite bus and payload. The NewSpace MRO is specifically designed for LEO telecommunications, GNSS and earth observation applications and is suitable for <10-year missions. A Hi-Rel MRO is also available for missions up to 20 years.

Our NewSpace Master Local Oscillators (MLO) are developed for telecommunications payloads that require a high, reliable and low-noise frequency signal. This equipment is suitable for mega-constellations or small GEO telecom satellites. Our MLO can be phase-locked to a master reference oscillator to form a Frequency Generation Unit (FGU).

Applications: LEO broadband, GNSS and applications where precision frequency stability, ultra-low phase noise and low power consumption are crucial.
