Rakon has released its new HSO14, High Stability OCXO, with Allan Deviation in the 10-14 stability class. The HSO14 boasts outstanding short-term stability and excellent close-in phase noise performance. This product is available in 5 MHz and 10 MHz output frequencies and can be adapted for custom frequencies as well.

Rakon Limited (RAK) released its preliminary result announcement and preliminary financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2017 to the market at around 9.00am on Thursday 18 May 2017. This was followed by a presentation by management at 11.00am by teleconference.

Rakon Celebrates 50 Year History in Hi-tech Industry

It was the era of black and white television, The Beatles, and the space race between the US and Russia to the moon. It was the 1960s and on the other side of the world, in his garage in little New Zealand, a man was making crystals to generate radio frequency. That man was Warren Robinson, founder of Rakon. Back then, Warren saw a large gap in the market for crystals and so he decided to make his own. The company became incorporated on 4 April 1967.
Rakon Introduces High Frequency Ultra Stable TCXOs for Low Jitter and Phase Noise Applications
Rakon announces the release of its new RHT1490 product series of high frequency and low jitter ultra-stable TCXOs that are available in frequencies from 50 MHz to 204.8 MHz. The RHT1490 delivers world class telecommunications grade stability with a low RMS phase jitter of <200 fs (12 kHz – 20 MHz).
This product platform’s frequency output enables lower system jitter, allowing communication system architects to optimise noise budget and performance.
